Would you know how to help?

We all have mental health, just as we all have physical health. Mental ill health can strike at any time and can affect everyone.

Although things are improving, stigma still exists around mental ill health. As a society, we don’t tend to know how to take care of our mental health like we do our physical health. This means that people may not know how to support a friend, family member or colleague experiencing a mental health issue, or where to go for help with their own mental health.

At Talent Inspire, we provide an accredited MHFA mental health first aid course which helps individuals in the workplace to develop a greater awareness of how to help employees who are struggling in some way with a mental health issue.

Mental Health First Aiders are valuable in providing early intervention help.

Teaching groups of employees how to recognise the crucial warning signs of mental ill health not only helps create a better place to work, it also makes good business sense. Providing the right support to an employee suffering from mental health problems, particularly in the early stages, can have a massive impact for the individual and the organisation.

Embedding MHFA training within any organisation or community encourages people to talk more freely about mental health, reducing stigma and creating a more positive culture. Upon completion of the course, the delegates will be accredited Mental Health First Aiders receiving a Certificate of Accreditation.
